To Sous Chef – Fun Food To Bake on Your Break

by kitchenarian on March 8, 2011

Dear Sous Chef,

I woke up this morning with a smile on my face knowing that you will be home this week. The winter has been cold and long and I have missed your sweet face and the smell of your cookies baking in the oven.

Here are some great recipes that I have discovered while perusing other blogs that I thought would be fun to bake while you are home:

Dulce De Leche Cupcakes – Joy The Baker

Butter Toffee Cookies – Goddess of Baking

Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies – Katrina’s Kitchen

Nutella Cupcakes – My Baking Addiction

Pear Crumble Muffins – Diethood

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles – Love and Olive Oil

Maple Bacon and Egg Breakfast Sandwich – Sprinkles of Parsley

And you have already sent me the link to this one, so we will definitely bake this:

Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies – Picky Palate

The kitchen is stocked with eggs, sugar and butter and your kitty cat is sleeping on your bed awaiting your return. I am so excited to see you soon.

Much love,
The Kitchenarian

These all look fantastic, and I’m certainly going to try to make as many as I can! 🙂
