Slow Roasted Tomato and Olive Focaccia – A Guest Post

Today you will find me all the way over at Diethood!  I wish I could say I lived in Kate’s neighborhood because I would love to pop over to her house while she is making all those incredible treats that she whips up in her kitchen.

I was so excited when Kate asked me to share a recipe on her blog.   Kate was one of the first bloggers I “met” soon after discovering Foodbuzz.   Well, you know we didn’t really meet, but you know what I mean.  She is a great friend who always offers support and encouragement on my blog as well as all the other many blogs in our food community we are part of.  I don’t think she sleeps!

Surprisingly, it didn’t take me too long to decide what to prepare for my guest post.  I’ve been wanting to make focaccia for quite a while and after Kate contacted me, I decided to use these slow roasted tomatoes from a recent French Fridays with Dorie recipe that my fellow Dorista and I recently prepared.   So head on over to Diethood and I will meet you there!  I am excited to share this recipe with you.

Just come from your guest post over at Kate’s. What a super job and love the photos of that tempting focaccia and just want to dip it into that olive oil. Likewise, I would love to be your neighbour – as well as Kate’s – as you’re always cooking up sensations in the kitchen.
