The grilling holiday of the summer is here! Hot weather calls for some really cool grilling ideas. Here is something different to try this holiday and for any other summer grilling event.
1 stick, unsalted butter
¼ cup light brown sugar
This recipe is delicious! I always use a grilling grid when I grill smaller items like pineapple. A grilling grid is available in different sizes. Just place on top of your grill and cook directly on it. It is mostly solid, with small holes, or grids, covering the surface.
Core a pineapple and cut into eight slices. Melt butter and the light brown sugar together. Grill pineapple, turning once, until pineapple is heated through, about 4 minutes. Baste with the melted butter and brown sugar while grilling.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche or any other caramel sauce.
